Single Sign-on Process for IFMA Website
IFMA has a new single sign-on process for all websites. Individuals will now use the email address on file with IFMA as their Username. Passwords will remain the same or can be reset. From IFMA’s home page,
www.ifma.org, users will be able to access the credentials site (CAMP), IFMA’s Online Learning Center, Membership and the Knowledge Center. The link for CAMP login is
www.ifma.org/my-account/camp.
To access CAMP after logging in, you must choose
Professional Development > Credentials > Manage My Credentials. Click on the “CAMP” button and you will move into the CAMP program
.
Note:
If you receive a notice that you must have a valid user email to reset your password, this means that your email must be registered and you must create the user name. You will need to choose: “
Don’t have an account.” This will create an account with the single sign-on program which is used to login. Follow those instructions, using the same email which is in your IFMA record.
IFMA’s Public Credentials Registry
IFMA’s Public Credentials Registry allows individuals to verify credentials by name, city, state or country. Results show active credential holders, the credentials they hold and the initial privilege dates of each.
Access the Registry using this link:

Accessing Credentials Receipts
After completing the payment for any item in CAMP, you will be able to pull your
receipt from the “Order History” tab. Click on the order to open. Choose the
“Show Receipt” link to see the receipt. The receipt may be copied and pasted into an email.
CFM Expiration Notices and Contact Information
As a courtesy, expiration notices are emailed to active CFMs beginning six months prior to individual expiration dates. Emails will continue to be sent throughout the three-month “grace period” following the expiration date. Emails will also be sent during the following three-month “cancellation pending period” prior to the cancellation date.
For renewals submitted during the cancellation pending period, there is a late fee of US$100. Six months after your expiration date, your credential
will be cancelled and you will be required to retake the exam in order to have your CFM reinstated.
It is essential for you to maintain your current contact information in your CAMP record.
We make every effort to contact CFMs prior to cancellation; however, we cannot remind you of your cancellation date if we do not have current contact information. Please note: It is the responsibility of the CFM to know his or her expiration date and to contact the IFMA Credentials Team regarding renewal. Not receiving a reminder does not excuse one from recertifying on time.
Again, once your CFM is cancelled you cannot simply have it reinstated. You will be required to retake and pass the CFM Exam.
CFM Renewal Update
If you have concerns regarding insufficient maintenance points for renewal, please contact the Credentials Manager to discuss your situation. This particularly applies to individuals for whom the situation is due to loss of employment, illness or active military duty.
CFMs should be aware that any related training or continuing education can be used towards CFM maintenance. Training is worth one maintenance point per hour of training. Remember, IFMA-sponsored conferences and IFMA membership do not require documentation. We can verify your participation from your membership record — you will just need to list the events and/or membership.
In order for IFMA to continue to serve the needs and expectations of CFM credential holders, there will be a recertification fee price adjustment starting
Sept. 1, 2016. The three-year CFM renewal fee will be US$290 for IFMA members and US$365 for nonmembers.
If you have any questions regarding CFM maintenance, renewal or any aspect of the credentialing process, please contact Rhonda Hager, IFMA Credentials Manager, at
rhonda.hager@ifma.org
ANSI Accreditation
As many of you know, IFMA is in the process of submitting an application to ANSI for accreditation of the CFM credential under ISO/IEC International Standard 17024. Although we anticipate this to take a number of months due to the process involved for accreditation, we are excited to be moving forward on this initiative. ANSI accreditation is recognized both nationally and internationally and has become the hallmark of a quality certification program.
RCFM Status
For CFMs who are no longer active in the profession due to retirement or a transition to another field, the RCFM is an option. This is not considered an active credential, so no maintenance is required. Additionally, there is no age restriction for this status. There is a one-time application fee of US$95, and the application can be submitted online through the CAMP program. RCFMs are issued a new certificate and pin and cannot represent themselves as a CFM. Additional information can be found at
Retired CFM. RCFMs which wish to move back to an active status will be required to retake and pass the CFM exam.
Publish Your Credential to Third Parties
This feature allows credential holders to securely verify their credentials to third parties, such as employers. Third party administrators are sent a secure link and authorization code which allows them to view the authentic verification report of the candidate's credential status. For additional security, the link has a configurable expiration date and maximum view limit. Once certified in a program, candidates can have their own credential status reports sent to a recipient of their choice. Choose “Publish Credentials” from the left hand menu under “Credential Progress.” Choose a recipient email address, insert a message and check the agreement box, then choose “Publish Report.” The recipient will receive a message containing a secure link which will verify the credential.
